Privacy Policy for ThisdAI
Last Updated: March 18, 2026
Father of Legends LLC ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use ThisdAI, our web, mobile, and desktop application for AI-generated task management and daily planning (the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the Service.
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of changes by sending an email to the address associated with your account and through in-app notifications. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information when you use ThisdAI:
a. Personal Information
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and any other data provided when you register or use the Service.
- Payment Information: Billing details processed through third-party payment processors (Stripe, Apple, or Google) when you make payments for premium features or add-ons.
- User-Inputted Data: All content you enter into the Service, including tasks, goals, friction points (barriers to progress), notes, conversation history, prompts, and any other text or data you provide for AI processing and task management. This may include personal information if you include it in your inputs (e.g., names, emails, or other identifiable details).
b. Non-Personal Information
- Device Information: IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, or other technical data collected automatically.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Service, such as features used, tasks generated, or time spent on the platform.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: Cookies, web beacons, or similar technologies used to track user behavior for analytics, advertising, and service delivery.
c. Information from Third Parties
- Data from third-party services, such as authentication providers (if you log in via Google or other accounts) or payment processors, to facilitate account creation or transactions.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your ThisdAI account.
- To provide, operate, and deliver the Service, including generating AI-driven task lists, breaking down goals, analyzing friction points, processing notes, tracking progress, and generating suggestions.
- To personalize your experience, such as adapting AI outputs based on your inputs.
- To analyze usage trends and improve the Service through analytics.
- To send you marketing communications, updates, or promotional materials (with your consent where required, and with an opt-out option).
- To comply with legal obligations or protect our legal rights.
All core features of ThisdAI require sending user-inputted data to third-party AI providers (detailed in Section 3.1). We obtain your explicit consent in the app before any such sharing occurs.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only as described below:
3.1 Sharing with Third-Party AI Services (Required for Core Functionality)
Every feature in ThisdAI relies on artificial intelligence provided by third parties. To enable task generation, goal decomposition, friction point analysis, progress tracking, note processing, and other AI-driven outputs, we send your user-inputted data to the following providers:
- What data is shared: Your inputted content, including tasks, goals, friction points, notes, conversation history, prompts, and any text or data you enter (which may contain personal information if included by you).
- Who we share it with:
- How and why: Data is transmitted securely via API calls when you use any AI-powered feature. The providers process this data solely to generate relevant AI responses and outputs for your use in the app. We do not send account details (e.g., email, payment info) for AI purposes unless you include them in inputs.
- Data protection and practices: We require these providers to offer equivalent or stronger data protection through their policies and our agreements. For example:
- OpenAI does not use API-submitted data to train or improve models unless you explicitly opt in (per their API data usage policies).
- Google Gemini (for paid/developer API use) does not use prompts or responses to train models and offers zero data retention options in many cases.
- xAI processes data for service delivery; we rely on their contractual safeguards for protection.
Data is typically processed transiently (not retained long-term for training), though abuse monitoring logs may be kept per provider policies.
- User control and consent: On iOS devices we display a clear in-app explanation and obtain your explicit permission (e.g., "Allow sending my inputs to OpenAI, Google Gemini, and xAI for AI processing") before transmitting any data. You can revoke consent anytime by deleting your account. All app functionality requires AI processing.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising purposes beyond analytics partners disclosed elsewhere.
Other sharing:
- Service Providers: With vendors like Google Cloud (storage), Stripe/Apple/Google (payments), and analytics partners.
- Business Transfers: In mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales.
- Legal Requirements: To comply with laws, subpoenas, etc.
- With Your Consent: For other disclosed purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored securely in the United States via Google Cloud. We use encryption, access controls, and other measures. Data sent to AI providers follows their security and retention practices (often short-term processing only). No transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We retain data as needed for service delivery, legal compliance, or until account deletion.
5. Your Privacy Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal information, subject to applicable laws (e.g., CCPA for California residents or GDPR for EU residents):
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal obligations).
- Opt-Out: Opt out of non-essential data processing, such as marketing communications or non-essential cookies.
- Portability: Request a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at [email protected] or [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days or as required by applicable law.
If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information (which we do not engage in) and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
Revoking AI sharing consent blocks all features but does not affect your other rights. Contact [email protected] for requests.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
ThisdAI uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience, analyze usage, deliver the Service, and serve personalized advertisements. You can manage your cookie preferences through our cookie consent tool, which allows you to opt out of non-essential cookies. Essential cookies required for the Service’s functionality cannot be disabled. You may also adjust your browser settings to manage cookies, though this may affect your experience.
7. Children’s Privacy
ThisdAI is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 16. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a user under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected].
8. International Data Transfers
ThisdAI primarily targets users in the United States, but users from other countries may access the Service. If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards, such as encryption and contractual protections, to comply with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR for EU residents).
9. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as payment processors or external integrations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
